Dresden Striezelmarkt Opens on November 26th

The Dresden Striezelmarkt is Germany’s oldest Christmas market and one of the most famous worldwide. Every year, it delights visitors of all ages with its lovingly and individually designed stalls (over 200 in total), Christmas music and typical Saxon cosiness.
This visitor magnet attracts crowds with superlatives such as the world’s largest 14.61-metre-high Erzgebirge step pyramid, the world’s largest walk-in Schwibbogen (decorative candle arch), the XXL nativity scene under Dresden’s most beautiful Christmas tree and a daily Christmas cultural programme for young and old.
