March 2: Stammtisch and Annual Meeting
At our March 2nd Stammtisch we presented highlights of our 2025 programs and impact.
Budimka Uskokovic, Director of German Language Instruction at The Ohio State University, gave a brief presentation on a relatively new German on the Ground self-paced learning course at OSU.
We also introduced Quianna Simpson from the OSU Department of Dance. Quianna has been chose by the Greater Columbus Arts Council for its annual artist residency in Dresden. Quianna will spend two months this summer in Dresden
Stammtisch Socials
Our Stammtisch socials are informal gatherings for members and friends of Dresden Sister City.
Held at local restaurants and bars, Stammtisch socials are an opportunity to meet our members and learn about our group. The events are free and open to anyone who would like to attend. Food and drinks are at your own expense.
English is primarily spoken at the socials, although some attendees can speak German. If you have an interest in the German language, our Stammtisch events provide a nice opportunity to practice the language.
